1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using CaliforniaDryCleaners.com ("the Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.
2. Service Description
California Dry Cleaners is an online directory that connects consumers with dry cleaning businesses across California. We offer:
- Free business listings for dry cleaning services
- Featured listing subscriptions for premium placement
- Business claim and verification services
- Photo upload and listing management for business owners
3. Business Listings
3.1 Free Listings: All dry cleaning businesses in California may be listed in our directory at no cost. Listings are populated from publicly available information.
3.2 Claiming Your Listing: Business owners may claim their listing to gain editing rights and access to premium features. You must be an authorized representative of the business to claim a listing.
3.3 Listing Accuracy: You are responsible for ensuring all information in your listing is accurate, current, and truthful. We reserve the right to remove or modify listings that contain false, misleading, or inappropriate content.
4. Featured Listings (Paid Subscriptions)
4.1 Pricing: Featured listings are available at $29/month or $290/year, billed as recurring subscriptions. Pricing is subject to change with 30 days notice.
4.2 Featured Limits: We limit the number of featured listings per city to maintain their premium value. Limits vary by city size and are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis.
4.3 Subscription Terms: Featured subscriptions automatically renew until cancelled. You may cancel at any time from your dashboard. There are no refunds for partial months.
4.4 Featured Benefits: Featured listings receive top placement, photo gallery access, and enhanced visibility. We do not guarantee specific traffic or customer acquisition results.
5. Payment and Billing
5.1 Payment Processing: All payments are processed securely through Stripe. We do not store your credit card information.
5.2 Billing: You will be billed on the date you subscribe and on the same date each billing period thereafter.
5.3 Failed Payments: If a payment fails, we will attempt to charge your payment method up to three times. If payment cannot be processed, your featured listing will be downgraded to a free listing.
6. Cancellation and Refunds
6.1 Cancellation: You may cancel your featured listing subscription at any time. Your listing will remain featured until the end of your current billing period.
6.2 Refunds: We do not offer refunds for partial months or unused portions of your subscription. See our Refund Policy for full details.
6.3 Early Launch Pricing: If you subscribe during our early launch period and lock in special pricing, that rate is guaranteed for as long as you maintain an active subscription. If you cancel and later resubscribe, current pricing will apply.
7. User Conduct
You agree NOT to:
- Provide false or misleading information
- Claim a listing you are not authorized to represent
- Upload inappropriate, offensive, or copyrighted content
- Attempt to manipulate rankings or reviews
- Use the Service for any illegal purpose
- Scrape, copy, or reproduce our content without permission
8. Content and Intellectual Property
8.1 Your Content: You retain ownership of any photos, text, or other content you upload. By uploading content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive license to display, reproduce, and distribute your content on our Service.
8.2 Our Content: The Service, including its design, features, and original content, is owned by California Dry Cleaners and protected by copyright and trademark laws.
9. Disclaimers
9.1 No Warranty: The Service is provided "AS IS" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, accuracy of listings, or specific results.
9.2 Third-Party Businesses: We are a directory service only. We do not operate, control, or endorse the businesses listed on our platform. Any transactions or disputes with listed businesses are solely between you and that business.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, California Dry Cleaners shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months prior to the claim.
11. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, for violation of these Terms or for any other reason.
12. Changes to Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or prominent notice on the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of California.
